The Extraordinary General Meeting (EGM) is usually arranged for transacting special purposes of the Club. Accordingly an Extraordinary General Meeting (EGM) of Gulshan Club Limited was held on Saturday 30th November 2019 at 11:00 am in the Multipurpose Hall (Crystal Palace) of the New Building Complex to work out the approval for newly introducing and bringing amendment on a sum total of six Articles. As many as 173 members from Donor, Life and Permanent Members of the Club were present and participated in the meeting. The Secretary of the Club requested the President to be upstaged with his Members of Board of Directors. The President welcomed all the members present in the meeting and called for their active participation. The meeting started with recitation from the Holy Quran. Now, the President explained the background and necessity to bring the amendment by changing and introducing points on Articles as No. 4(f), 7A & 7B, 9(B)(c), 27, 39(c) and 62(a) one by one with a very facile but playful mode and brief justification of each agenda. The Members Present in the house spontaneously and enthusiastically responded for the resolution of the Agenda. Amongst the attendance the former President of the Club, Mr. Irshad Hossain and Mr. Sultan Moyeen Ahmed (Robin) participated in the discussion. The meeting ended with announcement of the President as the proposal raised were duly approved by the majority vote in the house.
